Bold Color to Brighten Your Days

Gray has established itself as a new neutral and is here to stay.

But if you’re tired of gray and desire more excitement out of your interiors you’re in luck! Many of my clients are craving COLOR and lots of it! With the help of certain trendsetters, I’m seeing a kaleidoscope of home furnishing items becoming available.

Two such influencers are mosaic tile artist Allison Eden and art curator Mark Tanenbaum at Fenwick Bartel. Both are producing wildly chromatic fashion and upholstery fabrics, throw pillows, wall tile, wallpaper, floorpaper, rugs and even lampshades.

A good way to add color is to start with a neutral background palette like the clean whites shown above. From there, if you’re clamoring for a cacophony of color, be bold and consider the options below!
