Award Winning Romantic Bedroom

Lisa Stewart, Interior Designer, Raleigh NC, Bedroom Suite, 05

This classic traditional main bedroom I designed in 2010 continues to be a favorite on all Social Media sites.

Here are a couple tips for you to create your own romantic looking bedroom.
~The entry should be clear, free of clutter and open. This bedroom suite has French doors.
~The bed should be spectacular. Find a bed you LOVE so every time you walk into the room you feel LOVE! My clients went to extraordinary efforts to purchase this English reproduction bed with its hand-forged wrought iron and linen-fold carved wood headboard. They still love it!
~Use your favorite color in bedding and accessories but use a neutral backdrop to create calm for rest.
~Make room for a seating area with comfortable chairs.
~Be creative and use what you have. The blue side table shown is a garden pot on a stand with glass top.
~And finally add a chandelier. The one here is NOT electrified. It holds candles to light when the mood strikes.
Are you ready to start your dream bedroom? Call if you need me!
